Tenure-Track Professor in the field of Exercise and Sports Didactics

The position

At the University of Vienna, teaching and research in the field of Didactics of Movement and Sport focuses on teaching and learning strategies, as well as educational and training methodologies. These are implemented through a variety of movement and sport activities designed for different target groups, both within the school context and in extracurricular settings.

Successful candidates will contribute to the multi-perspective representation of sports didactics with regard to exercise and sports pedagogical aims in the field of teacher training. They will have a focus on issues of exercise and sports didactics in the school context, and their profile will be compatible with the research focus of the Centre for Sport Science and University Sports and the Centre for Teacher Education.

Your academic profile:

We expect the successful candidate to acquire, within three years, proficiency in German sufficient for teaching in bachelor's programmes and for participation in university committees.
