Your professional field of activity:
As a University Assistant (Post doc, 40h/week) your future position is in Prof. Thomas Pfeiffer's team at the Chair of Managerial Accounting of the Department Accounting, Innovation and Strategy, which is part of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics. The duration of employment is limited to 6 years.
Your future tasks:
Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means:
- You build up an independent research profile in the field of managerial accounting.
- You will be able to work on preparing and completing a publication-ready habilitation.
- You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.
- You involve yourself in the supervision of the chair's students.
- You participate in evaluation measures and in quality assurance.
- You take on tasks in research, teaching and administration.
Required Qualifications/Position Requirements:
• Completed doctoral/PhD studies in Management, Business Studies, Economics, Mathematics or a comparable field with focus on analytical research.
• Outstanding dissertation
• Experience in publishing of quantitative scientific work (e.g. in the field of Managerial Accounting, Financial Accounting, Production and Operations Management, Organization, Information Economics, Microeconomics or Finance) in peer-reviewed journals is expected.
• Didactic skills / experience in e-learning
• Excellent knowledge of English (C1)
• Good German language skills are preferable
