PRAEDOC DISS (F/M/X) in Finite Fields and Applications

 (Part-time employee)

for a duration of 24 months, with a negotiable starting date.

Ihr Aufgabenbereich

The position is within the framework of the FWF-funded project PAT 4719224, “Generalized cyclotomic mappings of finite fields” led by Dr. Arne Winterhof, and is affiliated with RICAM, located in Linz/Austria.

Ihr Profil

• Completed master in mathematics or applied mathematics.
• Some background in fields related to Finite Fields and Group Theory, in particular, Polynomials and Character Sums.
• First experience in mathematical research at an internationally competitive level, in publishing results in internationally refereed journals of high quality, and in giving scientific presentations at international conferences and workshops.
• Strong skills of English.
