In the Service Unit of VSC Research Center TU Wien is offering two positions as student staff in research/administration each for 20 hours/week. Expected start: February 2025. This positions are limited until 31.08.2025, but no longer than the completion of a master's or diploma degree.

Tasks:

• Cooperation in organizational and administrative tasks in the field of teaching (VSC participation in the EUMSc4HPC project)
• Organizational and subject-specific support in the supervision of exercises (VSC Intro and specialized topics in VSC training)
• Cooperation in research (support of specific cooperations with program development groups in the VSC context)

 

Your profile:

• Enrolled in a relevant master's program, e.g. HPC, Comp.Sci., Sci.Comp. n.b.; No completed Master- or Diplom Study in these fields
• Preferred involvement in an international master's degree program
• Specific subject knowledge in GPU computing and performance engineering
• Team- and communication skills

Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade C of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 1,299.60/month gross, 14 times/year for 20 hours/week.
